It all started by volunteering to set up chairs at a college concert for a relatively unknown band at the time, Jars of Clay. Before they graduated college, Missi & Peter honed their promoter skills through many events including a Sixpence None The Richer show just as that band was coming to prominence with their Hit single “Kiss Me,” and appearances on TV with Jay Leno’s Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman. Twenty years later into business and marriage, their young boys have got the music bug too…
Missi Khosla (aka Melissa, Mom, Dear) is responsible for key decision making on both important details and the big pic overall business direction including long range planning & finances, project bandwidth allocation, concert venue & city selection, Artist/Band/Tour selection. Peter Khosla (aka Pete, Dad, Manager) is responsible for executing operational tactics most frequently by narrowing the field of choices for consideration by Missi in areas including Concert & Client negotiations, Artist/Band/Tour selection on one hand and working with independent contractors or other companies to realize the live events by task execution on the other. Elijah-Paul (aka first-born, tall one, babu) is responsible for making drums out of anything, and occasionally helps dad emcee or introduce a band on stage. Ezekiel-James (aka gentle giant, baby, chota) is responsible for singing loudly at opportune times and testing babysitters’ abilities to identify songs by the lyrics he recalls.
